In order to qualify to be a WSRRA sanctioned rodeo, you must have a minimum of four ranch team events, some event suggestions are listed below but are not limited to these events. Rodeo events will be approved by the WSRRA
EXAMPLES OF 4 MAN TEAM EVENTS: Big Loop Roping, Slick Horn Team Roping, Steer Stopping, Dally Calf Roping, Branding, Sort and Rope Doctoring, Mugging, Wild Cow Milking, Team Sorting, Team Penning, Trailer Loading
All events at the National Finals will be dallied on a slick horn and no tie-downs will be allowed.
SINGLE COMPETITOR EVENTS: Stock Saddle Bronc Riding & Woman’s Steer Stopping
These events can be included as part of a sanctioned Rodeo or Sanctioned as a separate event. (i.e.) Jackpot Bronc Ridings. For further details and more information please contact the WSRRA about producing a sanctioned rodeo or event.
WSRRA National Finals will be a four man team format and contain 5-6 team events.
Sanctioned Event Qualification Requirements
Event Sanctioning Agreement: Please fill out and return with your sanctioning fee to WSRRA. This information is needed before we can post your event to our website. WSRRA Membership Form: This is pretty self explanatory. We recommend you keep additional copies of this form with your staff at the rodeo to sign up anyone who doesn’t present a valid WSRRA membership card. As we state on our website, if they have previously paid their fees but don’t yet have their card, they will need to pay again and their original fees will be reimbursed. The bottom of the membership form will be their receipt. WSRRA membership includes a subscription to Rodeo News, the bi-weekly publication and official publication of the WSRRA. WSRRA Membership Disclosure Form: This is an explanation to contestants that they do not need to be members to compete in your rodeo but they MUST be a member prior to your event to be eligible for qualification to the WSRRA Finals. WSRRA Membership Disclosure Form
Download Results Forms: Please use the attached forms to submit event results. Be sure to list ALL contestants regardless of placing. Release of Liability: This is for the hosting organization to sign and return with the sanctioning agreement. Contestants will not need to sign our form until they compete at our Finals. Release of Liability
